Wicked Copters is the only CASA-certified drone training organisation approved to the new 2023 Manual of Standards (MOS) to offer up to 25kg Multi Rotor, Aeroplane, Helicopter and Powered Lift drone training. Wicked Copters is also approved by CASA for sub 150 kg (Medium RePL, model specific). We also provide a number of specialised and industry-focused advanced courses.

Our Remote Pilot Licence courses include the Aeronautical Radio Operator Certificate (AROC) and English Language Proficiency (ELP).
You will have access to our hard copy notes for the webinars, and digital notes before, during and after your course completion, including any updates as new Regulations become effective.
Our virtual classroom run every three weeks (often fortnightly), allowing you to train one day a time or all in one week. We also offer full face to face courses. The practical closeout is done face to face for both theory delivery options.
RePL Drone Upgrade Training in Melbourne
The Upgrade Training is for:
Same Type Upgrade
Current Remote Pilot Licence sub 7kg holders who wish to upgrade to the under 25kg or 150kg (Model Specific) weight class for the same type of craft as per their Licence. You will be required to submit at least 5 hours logged flying experience on your current RePL type to prove that you are an "involved RPA participant";
New Type Upgrade
Remote Pilot Licence holders who wish to add a different type of craft to their existing Licence. This includes multi-rotors, aeroplane, helicopter, and powered lift. You will be required to submit at least 5 hours logged flying experience on your current RePL type to prove that you are an "involved RPA participant".
Manned/Crewed Pilot Pathway
Current RPL, PPL, CPL or ATPL pilots wanting to obtain their initial Remote Pilot Licence in the under 7kg or 25kg weight class.
